Leg injury sustained aboard F/V Kelly Anne

A Coast Guard helicopter medevaced a 33-year-old crewman with a leg injury from fishing vessel Kelly Ann in Prince William Sound, Wednesday.

The aircrew safely hoisted the crewman and transferred him to awaiting Guardian Flight Services personnel in Cordova. The man was reportedly stable upon transfer.

The medevac request came in at approximately 5:51 p.m., for the crewmember aboard the Kelly Ann who had reportedly sustained an unspecified but potentially dangerous leg injury.
