F/V Tsimshain Lady crew safe, F/V Huntress distress relay.

The crew of the fishing vessel Tsimshain Lady is safe after the vessel began taking on water near Tamgas Harbor, Alaska, Wednesday.

A Coast Guard small-boat crew provided a dewatering pump and tied the fishing vessel alongside the cutter until it could be transferred to a Ketchikan Response Boat. The Coast Guard crew then towed the fishing vessel to Tamgas Harbor.

The crew of the fishing vessel Huntress originally heard the distress call on VHF channel 83 and relayed it to the Coast Guard.
