Crewman medevaced from F/V American No.1

A 35-year-old male crewmember suffering from abdominal pain and vomiting was medevaced by Coast Guard helicopter on Sunday morning from the 143-foot fishing vessel American No.1, 230 miles north of Cold Bay.

The Jayhawk helicopter crew hoisted the man and safely transported him to Cold Bay where a LifeMed aircraft crew transported him to Anchorage for further medical care.
