18ft Fall causes seizures, medevac from F/V Golden Pacific.

Suffering seizures 30 minutes after falling 18 feet, a teen from Chenega, Alaska, was medevaced from the 58ft fishing vessel Golden Pacific on Saturday.

A Coast Guard helicopter transported the teen to Anchorage and transferred him to awaiting medical personnel.

Slip and fall incidents are a major cause of disabling and life threatening injuries at sea. Responsibility for this incident has yet to be determined.
