graduate of Whitman College, and a 1973 graduate of the University
of Washington School of Law. Mr. Evans served as Assistant Case
Notes Editor, Washington Law Review, 1972-73. Mr. Evans' experience
includes counsel for United States Senate Commerce Committee,
Senator Warren G. Magnuson; Deputy Prosecutor, King County; Assistant
Attorney General, State of Washington, Office of the Attorney
General. Mr. Evans is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association,
Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and Maritime Lawyers
Section of the State Trial Lawyers, wherein Mr. Evans served as
Chair of the Maritime Law Section. Mr. Evans is admitted to practice
before all State Courts in the State of Washington, Federal District
Trial Courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United
States Supreme Court.

claimant admiralty and maritime related claims, where such claims
can be brought under the Jones Act and/or general maritime law,
as well as admiralty and maritime related longshore matters, cruise,
vessel and recreational boater claims, and related maritime jurisdiction,
in the Western District of Washington State. Representation on
specific State workers compensation programs is not provided or
available through this site.

This site is not intended to suggest certification or expertise
in admiralty, maritime or other area of law requiring specialty
certification, and including specifically in any State requiring
completion of special training, continuing legal education or
other certification to be certified as an expert. The Supreme
Court of the State of Washington does not recognize certification
of specialties in the practice of law, and any certificate, award
or recognition is not a requirement to practice law in the State
of Washington.
